The Shift – A Note on 2012

With 2012 fast approaching, it seems everybody is talking about the great shift, the great awakening, the great transformation, ascension, rapture, Mayan end dates, dna activation, dna perfection, the global return to Christ consciousness, reptiles, crop circles, evolution, Armageddon, apocalypse, or whatever. In this intensifying buzz of information and vibration it is becoming an increasingly difficult struggle to discern the truth about “the shift” and determine what, if anything, is needed to prepare yourself and the ones you love.

Is there really something to it, or is it all a bunch of superstitious gafflegab?

Are people telling the Truth, or are they trying to scare you just so they can take your money?

Is it something to worry about, or it is all a steaming pile of horseshit?

These are all good questions and, if your consciousness has been dragged into a consideration of 2012, you should be asking yourself these very same questions.

Now personally, and if you want my opinion, I think there’s nothing to worry about. Oh sure bad things are happening on this earth right now. There’s war in the Middle East and that’s probably going to end in a nuclear incident. There is bad weather everywhere. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis and disaster after disaster seem to punctuate the prognostications of the profiteers, but really, that kind of thing happens all the time. If there is one thing on this earth that’s a constant it is weather and war, but this has nothing to do with 2012. There’s always weather because, well, there’s always weather. And war? Well there’s nothing particularly divine, satanic, or prophetic about war.  War is always caused by the rich in their greedy attempt to get more rich and so to try and link that to spiritual evolution, dna activation, “the shift,” ascension, rapture, or whatever is just, well, absurd.

Now does this mean I think there’s nothing going on? Absolutely not. I do in fact believe something is going on, I just don’t believe it has anything to do with weather, war, disaster, or 2012. The simple truth is, the alarm is going off and the people of this Earth are starting to wake up and take the blindfold off and frankly that’s a great thing because as more and more people wake up and take the blindfold off, the light of our collectivity divinity is going to shine through and the Earth and all things on her are going to transform, in this lifetime, from the dark, dingy, violent, and hurtful place of “now” to a bright, shiny, compassionate, and uplifting garden where all are welcome, all are supported, and all are recognized (and treated) as the divine incarnations of creator consciousness that they are.

Of course, and despite what the profits, prophets, priests, and pundits say, that’s not going to happen by some magical “pole shift,” “energy influx,” “grid alignment,” “evolutionary jump,” or any of that pseudo-scientific nonsense. The “shift” only happens if you make it happen.

So, if you want my advice, quit listening to the blindfolded and sleepy denizens of this Earth, wake up, and make the shift. I can tell you this much right now, if you stand around waiting for galactic beams, light ships or saviors to save you, you are going to miss the boat. And if you miss the boat, how will you help all those who need help? So say to yourself  “I wish to move forward,” “I wish to wake up,” “I wish to transform,” quit doddeling and get cracking. The longer you choose to stay distracted and sleeping, the more that life on this planet is going to suffer.
